Alice Berry

Alice Jean Berry, age 79 of Columbus, formerly of Caledonia, passed away January 23rd at Mount Carmel West. Alice was born February 28, 1937 in Harpster, Ohio as the daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy (Penrose) Shuster. She married Donald E. Berry February 12, 1952 and he preceded her in death October 26, 1999. Alice enjoyed crocheting, reading, and shopping, especially at thrift and dollar stores. She loved spending time with her family and being in the outdoors camping. Alice will be sadly missed by her sisters, Helen (Norman) Bilger of Edison and Jenny (Earl) Healea of Martel, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son Kenneth Eugene Berry, grandchild Travis Eugene Berry and her brother Roy Lee Shuster. Funeral Services for Alice will be held on Thursday, January 26th 1:00 P.M. at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Jimmy Butters officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM till the time of service on Thursday, January 26th.
