Chad Kitts

Chad Allen Kitts, age 40 of Caledonia, died July 27th as the result of a car accident. He was born February 26th 1979 in Marion as the son of Roger L. and Carol (Gates) Kitts. He married the love of his life, B.J. Murphy September 8th, 2001. Chad worked for Todco for nearly 19 years mainly as a door builder. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He loved being outdoors, hunting and four wheeling. Chad was an avid OSU and Cleveland Browns fan. Besides his mother Chad is survived by his children, Slade (Katie Lautzenhiser) Murphy, Canyon (Kayla Weese) Hickman, grandchildren, Maverick Murphy and Riley Murphy, brother Ryan (Jenny) Kitts, sister Kacey (Neftali) Feliciano, mother-in-law LaDonna Murphy, grandmothers Ruth Gates and Fannie Kitts, sister-in-law, Farrah Murphy-Hatfield, nieces and nephews, Trace Hatfield, Aspen Hatfield, Hadley Feliciano, Aldyn Feliciano and Alana Kitts. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 31st at the Timson & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. A celebration of Chad's life will be held at Sunny Acres Party Barn (St Rt. 309) following the service.
