Carlos Ray Wylie

Carlos R. (Corky) Wylie age 47 of Marion, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening July 7th at Marion General Hospital after suffering a fall at home. He was born May 15th, 1962 the son of the late Sylvia J. (Golden) Wylie. He was a graduate of Marion Harding High School and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the Army - Navy Union Garrison No. 137 in Marion. He was formerly employed as a corrections officer at the Marion Correctional Facility. Corky is survived by his daughter; Danelle ( Mike) Austin and two grandsons; Tyler and Michael Austin of Marion. Two brothers; Butch (Karen) Wylie of Marion and Bob (Terry) Wylie of Caledonia. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. The family is planning a memorial services for a later date. No calling hours were observed. Arrangements have been entrusted to Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home of Caledonia.
