Don Moore

Don 'Dee' Moore, Jr., age 40 of Marion, passed away unexpectedly Friday May 9th, 2014 at his residence. Don was born in Marion, Ohio on July 20th, 1973 as the son of Don, Sr. & Marilyn Kay (French) Moore, Marilyn survives in Marion along with his step-father Ray Moore. Don was employed as a grain handler with Con-Agra in Harpster. In his spare time he loved to hunt, fish, coach softball and loved the Dallas Cowboys. Don was a member of the Solid Foundation Church. On August 5th, 1994 he married Shirley Christine Henderson in Vanceburg, KY and she survives. Don is also survived by his three daughters; Kayley A. Moore, Maranda D. Moore and Emily Moore, all of Marion, five brothers and sisters; May Moore of LaRue, Raymond Moore of LaRue, Mary (Tom) Mullins of TN, Angela (Wayne) Haines of Marion and David (Sharon) Moore of Vinton County, Ohio, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Don, Sr. grandparents and two brothers. Funeral Services for Don will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, May 15th at the Pentecostal Believers in Christ in Marion. Friends may call at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia from 6:00 until 8:00 on Wednesday May 14th. Burial will be in the Chapel Heights Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family in care of the funeral home.
