Ernest "Ernie" Gwinner

Ernest E. "Ernie" Gwinner, age 54 of Marion, Ohio passed away September 10th, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Ernie was born in Marion, Ohio, August 4th, 1967 as the son of Ernest and the late Lois (Hunt-Lambert) Gwinner. He was a 1985 graduate of River High School. Ernie was a very passionate and successful car salesman and he loved selling cars. Wasn't just a "job". Ernie was a member of many local VFW's and enjoyed spending time with his friends. He loved playing in Texas Hold'em Tournaments and was quite the poker player. He loved playing poker. He enjoyed watching OSU Football and poker tournaments on television. In his younger years, Ernie enjoyed camping, fishing and being outdoors. Most of all, Ernie loved his family and spending time with them. He was a simple man and lived a quiet, simple life, which was just the way he liked it. Ernie will be missed by his sisters, Christine (Randy) Hunt-Gates and Anniebell Lambert, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends. Ernie is preceded in death by his brother Richard Hunt, sister Steffany Gwinner and step-father Charlie Lambert. In keeping with Ernie's wishes, there will be no services observed.
