Floyd M. Hill Jr.
Floyd M. Hill Jr. age 64 of Caledonia, translated into another expression of life on Wednesday evening December 5th, 2007 after a brief sickness associated with his recent illness of the past three plus years. Floyd was born on February 25th, 1943 in Kentucky the son of Floyd M. Hill Sr. and the late Virginia Miranda Hill. His father survives him in Russell, Kentucky. He was a minister at a young age in Kentucky. Floyd was a youth minister at Bellville Church of Christ (mid 60's), the minister at Butler Church of Christ (1967-1971), Crestline Church of Christ (1971-1984) and at Carey's Run Church of Christ Portsmouth, Ohio (1984-1987) a school bus driver for Crestline City Schools (Mid 70's - mid- 80's) and a former State Corrections Officer at Lucasville. He is survived by his daughter Tamara Hill Rivera and four grandchildren; Natasha, Miriah and Hillary Keller and Isabella Rivera of Mansfield. He is also survived by his former wife Sandra Patton Bushong of Mt. Vernon. Three Brothers; Walter and Roger Hill of Kentucky and Ronnie Hill of Florida. Several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother and brother Jarvey David Hill and his beloved grandparents.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 11th, 2007 in Caledonia Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at the Caledonia Church of Christ at 7:00 on the same day with Art Marcum and Kenneth Boswell officiating . Friends may call at the Church for one hour prior to the time of the memorial service.
