George Curtis Rosenberger age 70 of Caledonia passed away Tuesday evening December 22nd, 2015 in Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus. George was born September 15th, 1945 in Marion as the son of the late Harold & Dorothy (Lynch) Rosenberger. He as a graduate of Pleasant High School. He was a tractor-trailer driver for Smith Trucking and Depot Express before he worked for the Farmer's Co-Op in Waldo, from which he retired. George was a associate member of American Legion Post 401 in Caledonia and the VFW 3313 in Marion. George was a big fan of the Cincinnati Bengals. He loved motorcycles and his trucks and was very proud of his garage entertainment area he built in it. George was a dedicated family man. He was married to Diana Gray in 1994, until her death in 2001. He then married Betty Tyler - Bryant, his first love whom he had known since age 12 in 2002. Betty survives him at home in Caledonia. George is also survived by his children Jody (Mike) Jennings of Virginia, Ronnie Sue (Doug) Carpenter of Lebanon, Ohio, Jennifer (Todd) Charlesworth of Bellbrook, OH, Jeff (Penny) Bryant of Marion, Denise (Jeff) King of LaRue and Shawn (Robin) Bryant Delaware. Twelve Grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his two sisters, Jerri Stover of Delaware and Phyllis Schuster of Nebraska. George was preceded in death by his brother Harold. He also leaves behind his best friend and companion Gus. Funeral Services for George will be held on Monday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. December 28th 2015 at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Chaplain Joel Fetter officiating. Interment will follow the service in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday where the family will receive them from 12:00 until the time of service (2:00).
