Helen M. Sateren , age 91, of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday afternoon March 11th, 2008 in Community Healthcare Center in Marion. She was born on September 27, 1916 in Pretty Rock, North Dakota the daughter of the late Clark & Edith (Barnes) Babcox. .
Helen Spent the majority of her life in the North Dakota/Montana area. She was a contract Rural Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Miles, Montana for many years. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Miles. In 1953 she married Norris Sateren. He preceded her in death in 1966. Se relocated to Ohio in 1985. Helen is survived by her three daughters; Mrs. Dixie Graf of Martel, Catherine & Kenneth Jenkins of San Antonio, TX and Sherry Gibbs of Clements, CA. She is also survived by Nine Grandchildren, Fourteen Great Grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Funeral Services will be held on Monday March 17th at 1:00 P. M. at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia, Ohio with Rev. Jerry Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home for the hour proceeding the funeral. Memorial Contributions may be made to the donor's local Humane Society.
