Jack Clifford Patrick, age 78, of Marion passed away Friday February 24th, 2017 at Marion General Hospital. Jack was born October 07, 1938 in Mt. Clare, West Virginia as the son of the late Carl Sr. and Beulah Irene (Swagger) Patrick. Jack married Phyllis Reed December 25th, 1958 and she survives him at home. Jack was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp for twelve years and was an employee of Tecumseh in Marion and later TASCO in Crestline. He liked nothing better than watching "westerns" in his spare time. He was a devout member of the Caledonia Baptist Temple. He was also a member of the Galion Moose Lodge #303. Jack enjoyed working in the garden, being outdoors and was very proud of his beautiful yard. Jack and Phyllis were also "snowbirds" and enjoyed spending the winter months in Florida. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a huge Ohio State and Steelers fan. Jack will be greatly missed by his children; Sarah (Jack) Patrick-Fox of South Carolina, Jackie (Wayne) Smith of Caledonia, Sandra Warren of Florida, James (Diane) Patrick of Marion, Joyce (Rick) Lawrence of Marion, Steven Patrick of Florida, 10 grandchildren, Tony, Patrick, Stacie, Johnny, Kim, Whitney, Jason, Caitlyn, Mackenzie & Austin. 14 great grandchildren, Saige, Chloe, Liam, Rory, Gary, Lacie, Skylar, Nevaeh, Eric, Jim, Elsie, Alannah, Lauren and Cayden. His 3 sisters are Norma ( Clarence) Hudson of Galion, Hazel (Lester) Estep of Galion, Rose Arnold of Indiana and numerous nieces and nephews and his dog Maggie. Jack is preceded in death by his son Donald, daughter Phyllis Ann and grandson Derrec; sisters, Emma Jo, Mary Eleanor (Aunt Mug), Patti, Betty, Helen and Peggy. brothers Carl Jr. Robert, Bill, Brooks & Tex. Friends may call at the Caledonia Baptist Temple from 4-6 March 2nd. Service will be held at 6 pm with Rev. Terry Cudd officiating.
