Richard E. Jamison, age 52 of Caledonia, passed away early Saturday morning October 20th, 2007 after a hard battle with cancer. Richard was born in Marion on November 15th, 1954, the son of the late James W. & Grace L. (Cooper) Jamison. He was a 1973 graduate of River Valley High School and a tool & die maker by trade�?? He was employed at Clark Metal in Marion from 1974 until 2001. He than worked for Galion, Inc. from 2001 to 2005 until his illness forced him to stop. He had also operated an antique shop for a short time in Mt. Victory. He enjoyed �??antiquing�?? and coin collecting; he enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing, softball and volleyball. He was a Twenty Five year member of Alcoholics Anonymous and the Sons of the American Legion. He loved watching OSU sports and the Cleveland Indians, but the thing he enjoyed most was watching his son Cody play football and baseball. Besides Cody, Richard is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Mark & Barb Jamison of Caledonia and his sisters; Melissa Scott of Springfield Ohio and his sister Vona and her husband James LaClaire of Fredericksburg, VA. Funeral Services for Richard will be held at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, October 24th, 2007 at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home, 407 S. Main St. in Caledonia with Pastor Randy Keil officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will receive them between the hours of 2 - 4 and 6 - 9 on Tuesday.
