Rickie Alan Cox II

Rickie Alan Cox II, age 51 of Bucyrus, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 12th at his residence after a lengthy illness. Rickie was born May 20^th, 1972 in Marion, Ohio as the son of Pastor Rickie Sr. and Janice (Hamm) Cox, who both survive him at home. Rickie was a long time member of Trinity Gospel Tabernacle in Galion, where his father is Pastor. Rickie was fun-loving and enjoyed a good laugh with his close friends. He loved to be outdoors. He had a passion for deer hunting and fishing. His passion for hunting paled in comparison to his love of motorcycles. He loved his Harleys. Whether he was riding them or working on them.  This was something he and his father both had in common and shared. Rickie was also a collector. He had an extensive collection of knives and old straight razors. He was also on an axe throwing league. Rickie wore many hats and collected them as well. He had an “old style” look that he achieved with his hat collection. Rickie was also a tattoo artist and had many works of art of his own. Most of all, Rickie loved his family, especially his grandbabies. Rickie is survived by the “love of his life”, Heather Landon-Cox, children; Codi,  Amber and Destiny Cox, granddaughter; Blakely Cox and sister Jennifer (Eric) Zehner. Visitation for Rickie will be Monday, December 18^th at the Timson & Melroy Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Graveside service will be at 1:00 December 19th in Grand Prairie Cemetery with Pastor Rick Cox officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rickie’s name to Trinity Gospel Tabernacle Church, 326 First Avenue, Galion, Ohio 44833.
