Victor J. Thompson, age 47 of Chatfield passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 3rd at Fairhaven Community of Upper Sandusky. He was born in Marion as the son of the late Marvin L. and Carol (Hennessee) Thompson. He married Cheryl Wright and she survives him at home. Victor was a graduate of Marion Harding High School, he was employed by the TODCO Overhead Door Company of Marion. He loved to fish, worked on cars, played Euchre and pool. Besides his wife, Victor leaves behind his son Bryan Thompson of Caledonia, two stepsons Mathew Johnson of Marion and Jeremiah Johnson of Tiffin, three grandchildren, mother and stepfather Carol & Mark Kennedy of Caledonia, and brother Terry Thompson of Marion, one sister Valerie Brewer of Upper Sandusky, and one stepsister Kelly Kennedy of Marion. Victor was preceded in death by his father and two brothers Vincent and Vernon Thompson. Funeral services for Victor J. Thompson will conducted at 4:00 PM Saturday October 6th at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Minister Jon Lanier officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 - 4.
