Wilma June Allen

Wilma “Willie” June Allen, age 88, of Marion, Ohio passed away at her residence February 3rd, 2022. Wilma was born in Martel, Ohio June 19, 1933 as the daughter of the late Elmer and Elizabeth (Roesch) Leathem. Wilma married Clarence Allen July 5, 1953 and he preceded her in death in 2013. Wilma “ran” and worked at the old Southland McDonalds for over 25 years, where she was loved by all who knew her. She attended the Iberia United Methodist Church for many years. Wilma loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing Scrabble and Euchre and watching the Hallmark Channel. Wilma will be missed by her children, Craig (Barbie) Allen and Belinda (Harley) Smith, grandchildren, Ashlea (Dillon) Klee and Lacey Cox, great grandchildren, K’Lyne, Ellianna, Arabella and Landon and brother, Phillip Leathem. Wilma is preceded in death by her sister Donna Irwin, baby brother Russell Leathem, and grandchild Autumn. Friends may call from 11-12 P.M. on Thursday, February 10th, 2022 at the Timson & Melroy Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Sandy Silver officiating.  Private family Interment will be at a later date.
