Linda Lou Pierce, age 74 of Marion passed away July 19th, 2021 at her residence. Linda was born July 11th, 1947 in Paintsville, Kentucky as the daughter of the late James and June (Wells) Trimble. Linda married Larry Pierce November 17, 1979 and he survives her at home. She worked many years at Marion Kable fulfillment as a mail clerk. Linda loved BINGO, Slot Machines, Texas Holdem’ and going to the casinos with Larry. They averaged five trips a year to Las Vegas. She was always winning free trips, flights, leather jackets and other “goodies”. She enjoyed reading horror novels and was a big horror movie fan, even though her grandchildren, especially Jennifer were not. She also enjoyed watching game shows on TV. Most of all, Linda loved her family and spending time with them. Linda had a sense of style all her own, she enjoyed coming home with bright/funky hair colors and nails. Linda will be missed by her sons, Steve (Lori) Freeman and Michael (Shelly) Freeman, grandchildren, Jon Freeman, Jessica (Cory) Holbrook, Jennifer (Marc) Yost, Jordan Freeman, Josh Jones and Jamie (Darrin) Warwick and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation for Linda will be held on July 21st from 6-8pm at the Timson & Melroy Funeral Home. Services will be July 22nd at 1:00 with Pastor Terry Burkhardt officiating.
