Our fee for the services of the funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or Responsible party; arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording of vital statistics; preparation and placement of rainbow bridge notices; staff assistance prior to, during and following the funeral, including coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g. cemetery, crematory and others. Also included in these charges are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as our insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, administrative costs, equipment and inventory costs.

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.) This is not a declinable fee.

Private Family Time/Viewing

One Hour Prior to the funeral or graveside service on the same day of the service.

Private Family ID View

$225.00

Thirty minutes (30)  of Private Family Time (Identification) at the funeral home, followed by cremation. Private Family Time consists of no more than 15 immediate family members.

Immediate Family Consists of spouse, children, grandchildren, parents, brother and sisters.

Equipment and Staff for Graveside Service

Forwarding Remains to another Funeral Home  $1,733 (estimated)

 This charge includes removal of remains, necessary services of funeral director and staff, embalming, necessary authorization, and local transportation to airport. With minimum Shipping Container . ** Airline Fees not included. **

Receiving Remains from Another Funeral Home $990.00.

This charge includes the temporary shelter of remains, transportation of remains to cemetery and necessary services of staff. This charge does not include calling hours, rites or any ceremonies.

Immediate Burials $2,919.00 to $3,769.00

Our charge for an immediate burial, without any attendant, rites or ceremonies, includes shelter of remains, local transportation to the cemetery, necessary services of funeral director and staff, and authorizations. Does not include transfer of remains to funeral home or cemetery expenses.

Beyond 50 miles add $2.00 per mile

A. Immediate burial with a casket provided by Purchaser $2,919.00

B. Immediate burial with minimum casket and grave liner purchased at funeral home $3,769.00

Direct Cremation

Our charge for a direct cremation without any attendant, rites or ceremonies includes filing of necessary paperwork, local transportation to crematory, necessary services of funeral director and staff, and any authorizations. If you want to arrange direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composite materials (with or without an outside covering). The container we provide is made of composition material.

A. Direct cremation with a container provided by purchaser $2,440.00

B. Direct Cremation with an alternative container $2,495.00

Ohio Revised Code Section 4717.13 Article 10

Effective March 22nd, 2013 No funeral home shall hold a dead human body, before final disposition, for more than forty-eight hours after the time of death unless the dead human body is embalmed or placed into refrigeration and maintained at a constant temperature of less than forty degrees.
